Cartridge World Appoints Tom Fricke as Chief Executive Officer
Former PepsiCo and Home Depot Executive Seeks to Escalate Company's Global Standing
EMERYVILLE, Calif. - Cartridge World, the world's fastest growing ink and toner refilling retailer and franchisor in the $80 billion printer cartridge industry, announces the appointment of Tom Fricke as Chief Executive Officer.
Fricke, who most recently served as an executive for The Home Depot, will work closely with Cartridge World's franchisees to intimately align the company with its consumers, escalate the company's global standing through the development of a global management team and grow the brand organically by cultivating markets in which Cartridge World has a strong presence.

With nearly 20 years of experience in general management, international business and strategic planning, Fricke has proven he is an efficient and effective leader. Throughout his professional tenure, he has worked with such companies as PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Giant Eagle Supermarkets and The Home Depot, as well as served as a consultant for Bain & Company in Boston and Cannon Associates in Washington D.C. His keen knowledge surrounding the operations of multi-national companies coupled with his comprehensive understanding of consumer products will lay a strong foundation for the next phase of Cartridge World's strategic growth.
